Last August 23, 2010, a tragic 11-hour hostage crisis happened, killing 8 Chinese tourists plus the hostage taker himself, former Senior Inspector Rolando Mendoza at the Quirino Grandstand, Manila.
Fear, anger, sadness and sympathy are the words the best describe how we all felt when this news aired on local and international TV stations.
Below is a video clip, from a Canadian - citing how he felt for the Chinese victims as well as for the the Filipinos who had also been gravely affected and saddened by this crisis.
All of us, we do not want what had happened. Hand in hand, we pray for the all victims of this tragedy. May all their souls rest in peace. We also pray that this won't break the good relationship of the Filipinos and the Chinese.
And for you Andrew, thank you so much... Much love, from the Philippines... Mabuhay ka!

In fairness naman, I feel the sincerity of his message. It's true that the incident last Monday can happen in any country so I just people will stop bickering about this. Let it be a lesson for all.
